About the event

In this comprehensive beginner's course you will learn the basic skills of crochet and gain confidence to create your own fabulous pieces.  Over 4 weeks you will learn how to hold and manipulate the hook, create the basic stitches which are the foundation of all projects, make squares, work in the round and read patterns.

This course is held over 4 sessions which can be booked individually.  This is SESSION 4 in which you will develop the skills learned last week in order to create either a soap saver bag or a basket - your choice.  This session is suitable for crocheters who want to learn how to read a pattern and develop their skills.

Session 4:

Following a pattern

Today we will be creating a piece by reading a pattern.  Learning how patterns are written and what different abbreviations and symbols mean.  Today's skills build on last week's working in the round.
