The Hexi-Gan

Join us for a creative and fun crochet workshop where you'll learn to create a Hexi-Gan cardigan made from beautiful granny hexagons. This three-session workshop will take you through the process of making the hexagons, joining them together, and adding a border to complete your stunning cardigan. Whether you're a competent beginner or an experienced crafter, this workshop  is designed to accommodate all skill levels.

This course is held at fortnightly intervals to allow you to prepare for the following session.

Event Schedule:

• Session 1: Hexagon Creation
• Date: Thursday January 25th Time: 7:00 - 8:30 pm In the first session, you'll learn how to crochet the hexagons that will make up your Hexi-Gan cardigan. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process, teaching you the stitches and techniques required to create these versatile motifs.
• Session 2: Hexagon Joining
• Date: Thursday February 8th Time: 7:00 - 8:30 pm During the second session, you'll discover how to connect the hexagons together to form the body of your cardigan. Learn different joining methods and get hands-on practice to make your Hexi-Gan cardigan truly unique.
• Session 3: Border and Finishing Touches
• Date: Thursday February 22nd Time: 7:00 - 8:30 pm In the final session, we'll add the finishing touches to your Hexi-Gan cardigan. You'll learn how to create a beautiful border and give your creation a polished look. Our expert instructor will be there to assist you every step of the way.

Materials Provided:

• Crochet hooks
• Yarn
• Scissors
• Stitch markers
• Written instructions
• Refreshments (coffee, tea, and light snacks)

Requirements: 

Suitable for all crocheters who are confident with hook, yarn and creating treble crochet stitches. Just bring your enthusiasm and a desire to learn! If you have your own crochet hooks or yarn, feel free to bring them, but all necessary materials will be provided.
