About the event
Join me in learning the fun skill of Tunisian Crochet. Â Over 6 sessions, you will be introduced to the basic skills of Tunisian Crochet including how to begin, how to create a variety of stitches and how to keep your edges uniform and how to block for best effect.
Participants should be comfortable with holding a hook (bearing in mind a tunisian hook is approximately 25cm long) and yarn and preferably able to crochet a chain. Â If you would like to take join this course but would like a refresher lesson please let me know at least a week before the course begins.
Each week you will learn different stitches to create squares of approximately 25cm. Â You can make as few or many squares as you like to create your blanket. Â The sessions will be held fortnightly to enable you to complete squares before learning the next stitches.
We will be using a beautifully soft and luxurious cashmerino wool in stunning jewel colours to create this blanket but there will be alternatives available if you prefer. Â (The cashmerino is available at a discounted rate for this course so no refunds will be available if you choose a cheaper option).
